Middle SChool Scheduling
Larson Middle School follows the Troy School District's Middle School Curriculum.
Sixth grade students have the opportunity to select elective courses for one period per day. Typically 6th grade electives alternate on an odd/even day schedule so students experience two electives over their 6th grade year.
Seventh grade students typically take Digital Applications (one semester), Physical Education (10 weeks) and Health (10 weeks). They also have the opportunity to choose electives for their second elective hour of the day. This may be on year-long elective (ie: Spanish, French, Japanese, Choir, Band, Orchestra), two semester-long electives, or two year-long electives that meet on an odd/even day schedule.
Eighth grade students have the opportunity to make selections for both of their elective periods.
